CLSU graduate lands 10th place in Agric’l Eng’g Licensure Exam

“All I wanted was to pass the licensure. I thank God for giving me more than what I wished for and expected”.
So said Engr. Rodolfo Sulit de Gracia Jr., a fresh graduate of BS in Agricultural Engineering (BSAgEn) from CLSU on July 1, 2016, who landed 10th place in the Licensure Exam for Agricultural Engineers given by the PRC on August 16 and 17. “I offer this success to my Alma Mater, Central Luzon State University,” Engr. de Gracia, who belonged to the top students of his batch, proudly said. “I also share it to Dr. Ireneo C. Agulto, Dean, College of Engineering; for his sound advice, trust, and guidance,” he added. He also extended his thanks to the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, among others. A native of San Rafael, Bulacan, 21-year old Engr. de Gracia, the youngest of four children, also thanked profusely his parents, Mr. Rodolfo de Gracia, Sr., a farmer, and his housewife-mother, Rosalinda, for their support and love. Aside from Engr. de Gracia, 18 other CLSU BSAgEn graduates also passed the board exam giving the university a 42% passing rate, with the first timers registering a passing rate of 50%. Dr. Tereso A. Abella, CLSU President, congratulated the College of Engineering for producing 19 new agricultural engineers. On the national level, a total of 396 passed the exam out of 1,002 examinees which registered a 39.52% passing rate.
