College of Education produces a topnotcher in Licensure Examination for Teachers

A recent graduate of the CLSU College of Education (CEd) placed 9th in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) given by the PRC in September 2016.
Audrey Lois I. Dairo, who finished her Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) as cum laude in July 2016, obtained a rating of 86.40%. When asked about her preparations for the licensure exam, she shared that she maximized her vacant time during weekdays reviewing her notes and attending review classes during weekends. Dairo is currently employed as a faculty member of the CLSU CEd Elementary Education Department.
After passing the licensure exam, she now prepares to pursue her Master’s degree in Education with specialization in Measurement and Evaluation at the University of the Philippines in Diliman by next school year. A native of Pangasinan, the topnotcher is a daughter of an LGU employee and a high school teacher. CLSU registered an overall passing percentage of 54.31% in the BEEd against the national passing percentage of 30.18%. In the Bachelor of Secondary Education program, CLSU posted a passing percentage of 33.78%.
