The 67th death anniversary of Vivencio Saulong and the unknown student heroes of CLSU was remembered last February 6, 2012 at the Saulong Memorial Park.

A simple but fitting ceremony was especially prepared for this day. Dr. Ruben C. Sevilleja, CLSU president and commemoration speaker led the wreath laying and was assisted by the vice presidents of the university. They were joined by the CLSUAAI and CAFI officials led by Dr. Romeo S. Cabanilla, Alumni Association president. Twenty-one (21) gun salute immediately followed.

President Sevilleja, the commemoration speaker shared his thoughts about the heroism of Saulong and other student heroes.

The CLSU Band led by Band Master Carlos Lamson, Jr. and CLSU Gintong Ani Rondalla under Maestro Adonis Voltaire Villanueva provided the music.
