The Alumni Scholarship Program is being offered to financially handicapped students, preferably to the children of CLSU Alumni.

The applicant must have grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.50 or its equivalent.

The applicant must be carrying no less than 18 units of academic load unless the applicant is in his/her final year.

The applicant must not have been involved in school troubles or conflicts, which subjected him/her to the student code of discipline.

A grade of 5.0 incurred at any semester/summer while enjoying the scholarship will automatically revoke the scholarship.

A grade of incomplete will be interpreted, as failing grade and this would mean suspension of the scholarship privilege until said incomplete grade has been completed or passed. Should the incomplete grade lapse after a period of 1 year, this would automatically mean a grade of 5.0 or failing grade and will eventually revoke the scholarship.

A photocopy of the most recent Income Tax Return (ITR) filed of the parents and received by the local BIR office is required. The family income of more than one hundred fifty thousand pesos (150, 000.00) will disqualify the applicant. In the event that the parents of the applicant are not required to file an ITR to the BIR office due to higher exemption as compared with the income, a certification from the said BIR office vouching that the family is indigent, may be sought to substitute for the ITR.

The applicant must submit a resume with two - 2 x 2 colored passport size photos.

The applicant must secure a stamped or sealed grade certification from the University Registrar for previous semesters completed or an authenticated copy of his/her Form 138 in case he/she is a Common First Year student.

B. STUDENT ASSISTANTSHIP

The Alumni Student Assistantship Program is being offered to financially handicapped students, preferably to the children of CLSU Alumni.

The applicant must have grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.50 or its equivalent.

The applicant must be carrying not more 15 units of academic load, preferably from 9 to 12 units.

The applicant must not have been involved in school troubles or conflicts, which subjected him/her to the student code of discipline.

A grade of 5.0 incurred during the semester will revoke the assistantship for the following semester. The student, however, is still qualified to return after a no failing grade performance is attained during the ensuing semester.

A grade of incomplete will be interpreted, as failing grade and this would mean suspension of the assistantship privilege until said incomplete grade has been completed or past. Should the incomplete grade lapse after a period of 1 year, this would automatically mean a grade of 5.0 or failing grade and will eventually revoke the assistantship.

A photocopy of the most recent Income Tax Return (ITR) filed of the parents and received by the local BIR office is required.
